This past semester I was fortuante to have my field experience at Ben Franklin Elementary School ,where I got to observe a kindergarten class. We were asked to write a letter to the teacher we were observing to introduce ourselves and tell them why we wanted to be teachers.
Later in the semester we had to write a field reflections paper in which we had to discuss Educational Psychology concepts and connect them with things we saw in the classroom.
We also had to write a paper showing our understaning on childrens perspective taking ability.
Another paper that is significant is the paper we wrote after reading an article called The Unmotivated Student. This required us to think of why the student acts out the way they do and to come up with different ways and techniques to keep the student interested in learning.
